Medium (50 words)

Mapsworn is a free, browser-based location MMO. Your phone's GPS becomes your character's position. Spiritual successor to early-2000s location-based MMOs.

Long (170 words)

Mapsworn is a free, browser-based MMO that overlays a pixel-art fantasy kingdom on your real-world GPS map. Walk through your park and you'll see trees you can chop. Cross your block and a wolf wanders into combat range. Plant flags to claim 500-meter territories. Found cities with farms, mills, blacksmiths, taverns. Unite friends into kingdoms with shared banks and shared wars.

The game features 40+ monsters across passive prey, aggressive hostiles, and rare legendary raid bosses (some require 2+ players). Seven dungeons unlock at every 5 levels — Sewer, Cavern, Grove, Roc Nest, Dojo, Dragon Lair, Tower of the Golem. Players can tame eight pet species, each evolving at level 5 and 10. World events run on real-time schedule: Boss Hours, Treasure Rushes, Plague Nights — globally synced so every player sees the same event.

No download. No app store. Magic-link login. Free to play with zero monetization. Mapsworn is the spiritual successor to a beloved 2008 location-based MMO, rebuilt for the modern web.
